If you are a die-hard fan of the old INXS fronted by Michael Hutchence, then you need this album. It's a bit (just a bit) of a departure from his normal INXS stuff, but still absolutely fantastic. You can almost feel his emotion in "Ghost of the Year."

This is a great album, the songs are fantastic, it will not disappoint. May 24, 2007

This album should have done much better that it did back in the 80's. This album has such variation and emotion. It's a shame we can't hear more from such a talented individual. April 13, 2006

As some may say, it is a shame that we won't be able to hear some more of this.

I remember that there was a video at MTV at that time, but I cannot remember which song were they promoting, but I can asure you, that any song of this album will be well received, either radio or video, excellent album, from the begining until the end.

Obviously, you need to be an INXS fan to like, or either, if you like the new electric sound that now you may hear it every where, you will also like it.

It took a lot to find this one, if you have a chance to buy it, do not waste it, take it and buy it. You won't regret it. September 6, 2005

I can't believe that I never heard this album till 16 years after it's release. You owe it to yourself to give it a listen. Definately some of Michael Hutchence best vocal work. The album is great from start to finish but really shines in the haunting "Concrete" and "Monday Night By Satellite". It is truly a shame we won't get to hear anymore of this collaboration. The pairing of Michael Hutchence and fellow-Australian Ollie Olsen produced one of the best albums of the 80's, in my estimation. It was the best of INXS, with an edge -- and with better production. The three singles from the album, 'Sometimes' (my fave), 'Way of the World,' and 'Ghost of the Year' (which probably had the best public response) were all written by Ollie, but would never have reached our ears if not for Hutchence's incredible voice.

This album directly followed the INXS album 'Kick' and paired these two friends, who had done some music for films during the 80's. While it didn't do well in the charts, this is one of those albums where every single song is good.

If you're a fan of INXS, you'll love this album, plain and simple. December 12, 2004
