Some of Gerry Rafferty's best music and a great album if you like his music! October 3, 2008

at least for me. I owned "City To City" for many years before I bought this one. I really wasn't familiar with any of the songs on this disc that weren't from that album but I was pleasantly surprised on first listen. It has become a favorite of both my wife and I. Especially as a traveling disc for the road. April 27, 2008

this is a great CD for us older folks. I was disappointed that the CD was unopened but damaged. I was not able to use it and had to order another. January 4, 2007

I haven't heard any other Gerry Rafferty Albums just knew a few of his songs from movies and the radio. What I'm saying is if you aren't very famaliar with his work this is a good place to start. I found the album to be enjoyable throughout and each song is interesting in unique.

What does it sound like? It's not a fast paced or rocking type of album but it does have some enjoyable guitar work in it. I really enjoyed the guitar on "Right Down the Line" which you may recognize from light rock radio.

One song that really sticks in my head is "The way that you do it".

Another interesting one with a fun groove is "tired of talking" which features a bagpipe sounding instrument which is probably some type of keyboard or flute.

If you don't mind 70's light rock and have an open mind you will really enjoy this record. April 24, 2006
