i think 2pac greatest hits is a must have for any 2pac fan or if your just getting to 2pac this is the one for you it's got all the 2pac classics in a 2 disc set classics like keep ya head up me against the world and hit 'em up it even has some of pacs first classics like trapped and brenda's got a baby and it also has some of pacs last recordings like troblesome 96. so if you are a 2pac fan go get this and turn it up rest in piece 2pac thanks for reading my reveiw see you. A perfect compilation

2Pac's 1998 "Greatest Hits" release is a very special collection. I really think that regardless of motives and their shady business practice, Death Row did an especially good job chronicling the career of one of hip hop's greatest characters. It was smart to make it a two-disc set, because to accurately cover his greatest hits, I think that's what was needed. This album really covers all the bases. All of the albums released during his lifetime are accurately represented, and you also get a taste of a few of his side projects like Thug Life and some previously unreleased tracks. Over 25 songs, a new listener can get a great taste of really what an incredible artist Tupac Shakur was. They can see the sociopolitical advocacy of his early recordings, the spirituality of some of his later ones, and the chilling way he philosophized about life and death. In between, there are some of his most appealing singles, well-produced club tracks, and west coast anthems from the 1990s. I think Death Row really did a nice job here, and this is the purchase to make for a casual fan or a new listener, because it could definitely get you interested and knowledgeable enough to make more purchases. I highly recommend 2Pac's "Greatest Hits" package. July 12, 2007

Classic

As many of you may know, 2Pac is one of the best MC's/rappers of all time. Not only is he true and comes from the streets and knows the struggle, but his lyrics are filled with the truth and it can give me a good perception of his life. About this cd, the songs are just great and they simply as a collection capture what 2Pac was about and the mark he made on the rap industry and he won't be forgotten.

2. 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted - Snoop Dogg **9/10** I like the collaboration here between 2Pac and Snoop. Nice to see the rapping skills of the old Snoop at display.

IF u dont have this ur wack

this album portrays the greatest rapper or artists songs. If you look through any tupac album review you will notice no one gives it lower then a 4. And most give it a five. If you see any one give it a 3,2,1 it just means theyre wack. So what we are witnessing when we listen to this album is the best of the best. This album makes any other rap artist ( with the exception of big pun, biggie small, big L, KRS-1, DMX)look like a pop star. THere isnt a weak track in this whole album. I couldnt pick a favourite song. All the hits of the tupac are in here you would be wack not to buy this album. I did the review for the edited album just to show that any infant who wants to listen to this album will greatly appreciate it. It has positive songs such as: keep your head up, dear mama, unconditional love, life goes on, to live and die in L.A. An also its negative songs with hitemup standing out. I think there are other great songs that should be put in this album such as wonder if heaven got a ghetto, friends, my block (remix) but the fact is you cannot fit all his greatest hits into one album.
