| | An interesting blend of western music and Chinese lyrics | |
Since this CD uses western instruments and pop styles, it is very easy to listen to, especially since Coco's voice is just amazing, she can sing so high! Many of these songs have a nice rhythm, great tune, and are very enjoyable to listen to-actually all of these songs are, I only have one complaint. I do not like how she incorporates a couple of English words in the middle of a verse or chorus that's in Chinese. I don't know about you, but for ME that kind of ruins the mood. This is Chinese pop at its best, the familiarity of western melodies with the exotic sound of Chinese lyrics. This is DEFINITELY worth the money, if you are into this kind of stuff.

i was browsing through the cd shelves at a store looking for something itneresting, when i came across "di da di" i imediatly loved her music, the first second i heard it! check out "someone'll love me" (track no. 11), "perfect in every way" (track no. 7), "longing to see you" (track no. 6) and "female heart" (track no. 5) "message" (no. 9) is also a really awesome song. i would recomend this cd to anyone!!
August 15, 2001This CD is one of those "must haves" or the "perfect gift". ANYBODY would like Coco. I have her English CD too and I thought it was just as good ((if not better than)) this one. She just keeps getting better and I can't wait till she starts touring in the US. Keep up the good work Coco! (Oh yeah, and about that Taiwanese Mariah Carey thing-gimme a break.)

My introduction to Coco Lee's music was this past summer when I was on vacation in Singapore. During the end credits when Coco Lee sang the love theme to Ang Lee's 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon', I knew then that I had to purchase the soundtrack for the movie! Coco has such an amazingly rich and textured voice, that I can listen to her sing all day! I may not understand the lyrics to her songs, but I know talent when I hear it and this girl has an abundance of it!
August 25, 2000I love coco to death...she is definitely the ONE~! Please don't mention anymore "taiwanese Mariah Carey" thingy~! She did not want to be titled with the "taiwanese Mariah Carey" anyway...it's the media who gave that title to her...jesus people...get a life and stop dissing her.
