On Mannheim Steamroller Meets the Mouse, Davis and his cast of accomplices tackle Disney stalwarts such as "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" (from Song of the South) and "Chim Chim Cheree" (from Mary Poppins), as well as relative newcomers to the Mouse catalog, including "Go the Distance" (from Hercules) and "You've Got a Friend in Me" (from Toy Story). Mannheim meets Mouse

This product is excellent, I got it for my dad's birthday and he plays it all the time in his classroom for his kids. There are a few teachers that are going to purchase it because they like it as well. Wonderful music! June 10, 2008

This is a replacement CD purchase, for me. I loaned the first one out and it was not returned, but still worth every penny. Great music! December 30, 2007

A Collection of Intros

I hate to say this, but the cover art is the best part, by far, of this CD. I own EVERYTHING Mannheim Steamroller has ever produced, and I know what to expect from Chip Davis' eclectic arrangements. That being said, I was very underwhelmed by this offering. What it seems to be is a collection of intros that end before getting to the "meat" of the songs.

If you are looking for something that will leave you whistling familiar Disney tunes, this isn't it. December 3, 2007
