Sweet was a Fantastic band. I'm a Huge fan. As I am for the era of "Glitter Rock" bands. Bowie, T-Rex, Mott the Hoople, Gary Glitter (not Gary Glam) etc. My only beef here is Dumbass's who weren't even around at the time incorrectly labeling 70's Glitter Rock as "Glam". The term "Glam" didn't even come into being until the mid 80's and was a label attached to the Hair bands of the day. They were two completely different styles and eras. July 25, 2008

This is a collection of the finest work done by SWEET during the 70's, the glam era. From little known tunes, to their MONSTER hits, this CD is absolutely filled with the best recorded material of SWEET.

Catchy tunes (Poppa Joe), Glam classics (Ballroom Blitz) and Heavy Rock (Action)...it's all here.

The best compendium of Sweet hits I've seen or heard. A MUST for any fan of the SWEET. Many of these songs have been hard to find on CD before. Get this CD before it's sold out. December 21, 2007

This is a German-produced collection. For all Sweet's popularity in Britain, they achieved their greatest success in Germany. This collection focuses on their singles. Some of the other reviewers lament the non-inclusion of album tracks such as "Sweet F.A.". Yes, the album tracks in general are not much represented here. But lots and lots of singles are, including the really early ones, like "Funny, Funny" and "Co-Co" from way back in 1971. June 17, 2004

if you skip the last songs one each CD (Man with the Golden Arm & the Sweet & Foxy Dance Mix) it's a phenomial collection!

it really does a good job covering their work thru time & even more impressive they do a good job filling up the CD!
Paperback Writer, Midnight To Daylight, Lucille/Great Balls of Fire were all previously unreleased when this came out! Those were the main reasons I got this out of German and I'm really glad I did! It's a great set!

while it's really good to me it was missing a few essentials! with the 2 I said to skip I burned over copies for my car and had room for 5 more songs on each CD....Now just missing I Wanna be Commited....don't have that one on CD yet!

don't know why they left off Solid Gold Brass, Sweet FA & Chop Chop those are all well know ones to!

This is a compilation that is Worth the Money! September 24, 2003

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A "DESOLATION BOULEVARD" FAN. THEN ONE DAY MY GIRLFRIEND TURNED ME ON TO THIS ALBUM.I NEVER KNEW THAT THERE WERE SO MANY "SWEET" SONGS THAT I HAVE LOVED FOR YEARS. FROM "LOVE IS LIKE OXYGEN" TO MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SONG WHEN I WAS JUST A KID, "LITTLE WILLY". SWEET IS TRULY AMAZING ,EVEN IN THIS DAY AND AGE ! June 26, 2000
