| | A MUST HAVE for anyone who loved trance in the late 90's! | |
This is by far one of the best albums ever! This album is definitely a necessity for anyone who lived the trance life in the late 90's. Oakenfold truly captured the hopeful energy of that time, making his works during this era treasures for any who seek peace in the soul. His choices of tracks are as perfect and relevant today as they were when he first spun them out to us.
Although the technicality is not quite up to today's mixing standards, it is still pretty smooth (definitely no train wrecks!). I would choose this album with its uplifting and spirit-nurturing trance over a flawlessly mixed compilation of pop and hip-hop based "techno" that people are calling good music today!
June 2, 2008 | | CLASSIC AND STILL AMAZING!!!! | |
I'll keep this brief because everybody already said everything about this. This is when Oakie put Cream on the map!!! The crowd goes perfectly with the CD. I will never get sick of this CD. I actually bought a bunch of vinyl from this CD and I still spin it occasionally.
May 2, 2008Classic trance mix, one of the best ever.
There is not much I can say to convey the greatness of this album. . .
if I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

March 6, 2006Mesmerizing, Fantastic, Soul Enriching Trance that encapsulates an era passed. Eat a Mitzubishi and relive the glory. If you have the ability to purchase this box set, do so. It is worth it's weight in gold.
