Mantronix have that unique sound that smacks of 80's electro Hip-Hop.
Can't get enough of that drum machine. So much of their music has been sampled by so many other artists since. I can understand why. This compilation covers the Mantronix experience with success.

Back in the day Mantronix brought some tight Beats&Grooves on there Productions&they were something else.if you see a Mantronix Set you want to Cop that piece ASAP.but quite a few Jams are Missing still a Good Set here.
April 8, 2003How can ANY Mantronix collection exclude the songs "Music Madness", "Needle To The Groove" or "Listen To The Bass Pt. II"? Any true Mantronix fan would get this only because he couldn't find anything else!! Where's "Music Madness" (the album) anyway?
March 30, 2002Where are songs like: Fresh is the Word, Join Me Please...,In Full Effect, This Should Move Ya, Stone Cold Roach, etc??? At least it has Needle to the Groove, Get Stupid Fresh Pt 1, Who Is It?, Simple Simon, and the awesome HARDCORE HIP HOP!!! A decent collection maybe, but hardly definitive or "best of".
February 28, 2002This is an excellent CD. It would be impossible for a Mantronix fan to be disappointed with this. All tracks sound great. The only thing that gets me was the remixes chosen for the tracks from the "Incredible Sound Machine" album-- they just don't fill the speakers as well as the originals. But that's remixes for you. And it's only a minor issue. Like all Mantronix albums, buy it while you can-- they disappear fast!
