Sorry

I'm going to spoil the party. But first I want to make clear my bona fides: Chris is my favorite singer of all time, I have all his CDs, I've loved his music for more than 25 years, and I was a member of his fan club for a long time (till the founder died). BUT... I am so tired of Capitol/Liberty reissuing Chris compilations (this one, best of, box sets, live, early years, rock 'n' roll collection, etc.). And a year and a half after Chris' untimely passing, it still hasn't ended ("Anthology" and "Ultimate Collection"). Enough! As much as I love Chris LeDoux, where does this CD come from? Greatest hits? As great as he was, he had NO hits! This is just shameless commercialism, although at least Chris' widow and kids benefit. October 3, 2006

The best of a legend but in one package. Chris Ledoux left us way to early. This should have been his first of many greatest hits. August 27, 2006

Simply Awesome

First let me start off by saying I hardly ever listen to country, I mostly listen to metal i.e. Metallica, In Flames, and Blind Guardian. But Chris LeDoux is something else, he is by far the best country artist i've ever heard and pretty much every song on this CD is awesome, there are a few that are kinda whack. My absolute favortie songs are: Life is a Highway, County Fair, Cadillac Cowboy, Hooked on an 8 Second Ride, This Cowboy's Hat, Cadillac Ranch, Five Dollar Fine, and Bang a Drum. The whack songs are: Gravitational Pull, Look at You Girl, and Even Cowboys Like a little Rock and Roll. The rest are all still good. I would suggest that even if you dont like country much to buy this CD, its very fun music. August 5, 2005
