| | The best guitarist you don't know | |
Domenic is the BEST. A musician's musician, rock and jazz guitarist extraordinare, and member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Give this a try, if you like r&b-inflected rock that's not the same old thing.

Domenic Troiano is an excellent guitarist and songwriter from Canada. This CD contains his first two solo efforts, Dom (1972) and Tricky (1973). Some of Dom's best work can be found on this CD. "The Wear and the Tear on My Mind," "The Answer," "If You See Me," and "Writing's on the Wall" are my favorites. Most of the material here is R&B, jazz, and blues-influenced pop.
It's difficult to compare Domenic's work to someone else's because it's so unique. If you're at all interested in this very talented musician, this is a great place to start; also look for "Troiano Triple Play," which features the best of his later solo stuff ('76-'79). October 6, 2000
