God gave this woman more than a gift and she has shared it with the world. I saw Cesaria Evora live on Lincoln Road, South Beach about 4 years ago and let me tell you; the energy level through her voice and her deepness of emotion are INCREDIBLE. She sang barefoot in order to stay connected with the ground. Isnt she amazing!!!
The first album I got from her, I heard it while staying in the island of Portobelo in Panama. The scenery was perfect and that album touched my soul. CAFE ATLANTICO is a must for any music lover who appreciates soulful

This lady has an awesome voice, no wonder they call her the barefoot opera singer. Cesaria could actually move you with just her voice and without the music. She is one of my favo rite singers. This is a great CD. I learned about Cesaria Evora in a television documentary and ordered the CD from Amazon. We are still tapping our feet and swinging to African Samba and ballads!
