This Fountains of Wayne single includes two unreleased tracks from the most delightful power pop band recording music today. The first of these tracks "Today's Teardrops" is a short interesting country romp that shows a different side of the band. It's playful and entertaining, but the real gem of this single comes from the song "Nightlight" a beautiful, soothing, and surprisingly inspiring lullabye that is certainly worthy of being an album track. If you are unable to find the Japanese "Troubled Times" EP import that contains these two tracks, as well as a few others (for twice the price), this single is definitely worth the money. "Red Dragon Tattoo" is also a great song, from a great album- "Utopia Parkway." Fountains of Wayne continues to achieve pop perfection, through their innovative song-writing and style.
