This is a must have CD for any fans of the Ink Spots, or of early Soul Music in general. This album is a great introductions to the beginnings of R & B music, and hints at what was to come, Rock & Roll! The Ink Spots found their groove in the music world, and with a few exceptions stuck with what worked for them-and worked well-a formula, if you will. The style of instrumental playing, the high vocals and the narratives were the foundations of The Ink Spots musical style, a style they built on for many satisfying years! I've been a collector of Ink Spots 78 RPM records for many years, finding dozens of titles. Here is a great introduction their historic, glorious sound, already collected and assembled, ready for every modern student of America's wonderfully smooth, early Soul sounds to enjoy!
