Classic album of songs from a great singer.
Stylish arrangements for an album this old show the quality of the production
November 3, 2006I'm sure this must be the very best female vocal track I have ever heard. Even better perhaps than Bonnie Raitts 'Blowing Away' I would even foresake favourite tracks by Jackson Browne and Bob Dylan to have these two in my Desert Island eight Disc collection.

April 20, 2006 i have a lot of vinyl, this just happens to be one that i have i like her then and i still do. my vinyl is going to my son to do as he please's should be worth something when he's as old as me.
October 9, 2005I bought "Shot Through The Heart" when it was first released on vinyl. My favorite cut is "I Know A Heartache When I See One" but I also like "Don't Make Me Over" and "When The Feeling Comes Around". When I hear Jennifer on the radio it's either "Right Time Of The Night" or "Up Where We Belong" with Joe Cocker. I really thought "I Know A Heartache When I See One" would help her reach stardom.Unfortunately,she hasn't received the acclaim she deserves. If you're a Jennifer fan,you should have this in your collection. If you've never heard Jennifer,give this one a listen.
January 25, 2004WOW - I love this album and the CD just makes it perfect again - no warping or noise from all my playing. This woman has the voice of an angel - emotional, smoky, heart-wrending. I know the conventional songs that were reviewed but my favorite has always been You Remember Me. I would love to turn on the radio and find that the Dixie Chicks discovered this stellar album and did an homage to Jennifer. But, mostly, I wish I was still hearing Jennifer on the airwaves as often as in the late 70's.
