Rahsaan Patterson - Love in Stereo

Rahsaan Patterson's Love in Stereo was the most exhilarating and, certainly, the most overlooked R&B release of 1999. It's confounding why an album so jubilant, so self-assured, and so unequivocally soulful didn't even garner a top 10 hit for the multitalented Patterson, who wrote, produced, and sang on all 12 of its inspired tracks. One Of The Absolute Best!

I know this album came out some years back, but I had to write a review of this absolutely awesome album!

How on earth could such a fantastic album go virtually unnoticed! This is one of the absolute best soul albums I've ever heard! Rahsaan Patterson is bringing it, this is the real deal.

I am recommending this album to all, and I do mean all of my friends! I can't even begin to share how good this album is, there's not one single bad song on the entire disc.

Look if you love real soul music, I'm talking about real soul music, then go out, no run out and get this one, because I'm tellin you, this brother is bad!

I can't stop listening to this extraordinary album!

Injustice

I listen less and less to black radio because it ignores really talented artists. There is little play of a Rahsaan Patterson or Jill Scott or Angie Stone so they don't sell in the numbers that less interesting musicians such as NEYO do. This is an injustice. There are at least 10 songs on this album that should be top ten hits and I have heard none on the radio stations I listen to. This is a great album and when you hear "So Hot" and "Burnin" back to back, basically two different vantage points on the same issue, you will appreciate Rahsaan's greatness. Listen to "Don't Run So Fast" and you will wonder why you haven't heard this great song a million times on radio. We have got to find a way to force radio stations to put Rahsaan's songs in heavy rotation. Until then, I suggest you gift his cds to as many people as you can afford to. February 25, 2008

A Man that can really sing and write songs.

I finally bought this CD and I really like it. He is a good singer and the music compliments each song. He is sooo under-rated and I can't believe why. I would love to see him in Concert. He songs are really soothing and funky. I hope he will be around a long time bring us this good music. We need good male singers that can sing and peform without taking off their clothes to get attention. His album should have had more publicity.

Jazzy...

Soulful, pop, rock and more rolled up into one. There is nothing more I can say about Rahsaan Patterson's work other than if you don't have his CD's you are missing out on some great music. Ten stars, change the rating system.
