First, with all the tracks, and for the money, I think fans of this era of music will find this to be a bargain. Most of the tracks seem to me to be "well performed" and per the previous reviewer just plain fun.

The sound quality is overall pretty good ( no real scratching or popping artifacts as are often found in abundance in music from older recordings, conversely the sound does not have much of the processed sound that one sometimes gets when such artifacts are removed. )

Many of these tracks seem to be taken from radio show performances and therefore have intros and applause that some may find bothersome. ( Perhaps especially in one case where there is fading applause during the first 3-5 seconds of Judy's Over the Rainbow)

On a technical note on my importing this into Itunes a couple of songs were mislabeled and songs aren't differentiated well at all in terms of who is singing solos or duets. ( Everything is artist identified as either Bing, or all 3 artists together no mater who is doing the song either as a solo or a duet )

So within the limitations above, in my opinion, a very worthwhile compilation. June 7, 2008

I really love these CDs. They have fun, good music and historic moments of Radio. It's wonderful being able to hear together three of the greatest singers of the world. It's amazing hear "You Made me Love You" sang by Judy, "Swanee" and "My Mammy" by Jolson, "If" and "The one I love belongs to Somebody else" by Crosby. The highlight is of course "Over the Rainbow" (What else?). A must have for music lovers. May 10, 2002
