The best Lecuona series out there

Phenomenal-This disc really blew me away. Tirino's other discs in this series on the BIS label were extraordinary-but here he tackles for his final volume some of the popular elements of Lecuona's compositional style, and surpasses all expectations. WOW! Such Cuban style in his playing, the arrangements, and playing of others-the first three Afro-Cuban Dances made me want to dance. I recommend this disc highly, even to those who don't like classical music. Tirino and Lecuona are one in the same as far as I'm concerned, and no one can touch him! March 29, 2001
