After cleaning up my music collection the other week, I stumbled across this cd again. I hadn't heard it in a while, so I put it on and remembered how great it is. Dan Hill has a superb voice and this music is really pretty. There are so many good songs here and great duets too.
One of my favourite songs on here is Carmelia - it's gorgeous, and I also love the duet with Celine Dion (Wishful Thinking) and one of his biggest hits, Never Thought (That I Could Love). He's definately known for his ballads, and there are heaps here.
The first song, Seduces Me, was once remade by Celine and it's the only song I don't like (when sung by him - she does it amazingly), and all the rest are stunning classic songs. There is Sometimes When We Touch and Can't We Try. If you listen right through till the end of the cd, you realise exactly how many hits he's had and the reason why he's such a good career as a singer and a brilliant songwriter. The other thing I really love about this cd is the liner notes inside; for each song he goes into some detail about how the song came to be and that's something you don't get a lot in music at all - something a real fan loves to see.
I really love this album. It's more for people who love power ballads and 'soft rock' music. He's such a great singer and I highly recommend this album. May 2, 2008

I first heard the song Unborn Heart on the radio the day I heard my second child's heart beat for the first time! It was so touching! It was great to hear from the fathers perspective! February 13, 2002

More new stuff, please!

This great collection just proves that Dan Hill is not only one of Canada's great songwriters (for those of you who hadn't heard of him before: he sort of disovered Celine Dion and later penned her classic "Seduces Me") but also a wonderful singer with a truly recognizable voice.

His tunes are very romantic, intense and personal - to say the least - but they really shine if you're affected by this sort of music.

A brilliant collection that leaves you wanting for more of Dan Hill whose recent releases have been very rare, unfortunately - even though this new collection does include the odd as yet unreleased track. May 11, 2000

Great Compilation!

This is the ultimate collection of Dan Hill, very nice compilation of his greatest hits, I will recommand any fan to buy this CD. March 27, 2000
