HER BEST & NOTHING ELSE COMPARES!!!

This is the best Britney has ever done. But her 3rd album would be the last time she worked with Max Martin who is the producer in charge of making her a HUGE SUPER STAR!!! I guess you turn your back on the one that made you famous so you can be considered a mature artist and work with awful producers so you can release uninspired songs. If thats the case everything after your 3rd album is a mess. But i shouldnt be so harsh. This truly is Britneys best album. Its one Max Martin original after the next. Total pleasure to the ears. Some Really Good Moments

Giving you a brief rundown of where I stand, I think Britney's 3rd record ("Britney") is her best. I did enjoy her 4th record ("In the Zone"), but not as much as "Britney." I enjoyed some parts of her first record "Baby One More Time." I place "Oops...I Did It Again" somewhere between her 1st record, and her excellent 3rd record. The 1st star goes to the title track 'Oops! I Did It Again.' That is a nice opener to the record. The 2nd star goes to 'What U See Is What U Get.' That has a nice edge to it. (Be happy with who you are, and don't try to change everything about yourself to please someone else. The 3rd star goes to "Can't Make You Love Me." This song has a catchy, and almost hard rock edge to it. Other parts of the record are listenable, but I can't quite say they stand out as much as the 3 tracks I have mentioned. While later records such as the excellent "Britney," showed stronger efforts, this 2nd record of hers has some really good moments. April 29, 2008

Great Sophomore Album!

Britney Spears second release, "Oops!...I Did It Again" struck accord with the year 2000 generation and will go down in history to be a classic album. 'Oops!' is full of catchy pop tunes about love, loss, fun, and for really the first time Spear's take on modern life (as witnessed in the tracks '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction' and 'Lucky.)

1. Oops!...I Did It Again - This was the leading single and by far one of the best songs on this album. The song has one of the most successful 'stuck in your head' choruses of all time as well as a modern beat and hip lyrics that all teens (even adults) can relate to.

2. Stronger - Another hit single about a cheating partner and the singer's ability to move on because she is 'stronger than yesterday'.

3. Don't Go Knockin' On My Door - A catchy tune warning an ex to not come around anymore.

4. (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction - A remake of the classic Rolling Stones tune, with a few tweaks to make it a female version. Spears sings about the pressure from the world to try and create people into what they aren't for the sake of being popular.

5. Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know - The final single from 'Oops!' tells a lover to be open and communicate their love for the singer instead of telling others how they feel.

6. What U See (Is What U Get) - A great tune about not letting your boyfriend/girlfriend control you and the way you live. Very catchy and fun to move along to!

7. Lucky - Very successful single. 'Lucky' is about a Hollywood starlet who has everything but love. A song that deals with the false belief that money and fame bring happiness.

8. One Kiss From You - A tween love song about a special someone giving strength and hope with one kiss.

9. Where Are You Know - A song about longing, wanting, and moving on after a relationship ends.

10. Can't Make You Love Me - A rocky tune about how you can never make another person love you no matter how hard you try.

11. When Your Eyes Say It - A ballad about how a lover's eyes express their love and devotion more than words.

12. Dear Diary - A very simple tune about a girl's crush and hope to be forever with that 'boy'.

"Oops!...I Did It Again" is a great CD for adults and teens to enjoy together or apart. Britney Spears really showed her musical ability on this release. November 20, 2007

Britney at her best...

...for those too scared to attempt to like or praise Britney for her career. This review is for you.

If you allow yourself for one second to transcend the stereotype of manufactured music, this album will tantilize your ears. On this album, Britney does what she does best--give you booty shaking tracks, proclamations of looking for love, and gilr power anthems. but, isn't that what pop is all about.

She never claims to be the next Diana Ross. hell, she doesn't even pretend to belt it out like Christina Aguilera. On this album, like the title suggests, she does it again. However, there's no mistake about it. And, again, allowing yourself to take pop with a grain of salt and realize it fgor wehat it is, you can actually enjoy the tracks.

Some of my fave include: "Can't Make You Love Me," "Don't Go Knock My Door," and "Stronger." All songs which perpetuate that pop music at that time was all about asserting what it meant to be a teenaged girl--fun, fearless, and cool.

So, alas, those of you who use her cuyrrent state of affaris to bash her entire career. It wasn't always so marred and shameful. She was, at one time, on topo of her game. And this album proves it! May 29, 2007
