I'm not much of a dancer, but this album makes me want to dance every time I play it!

"The Hass" gets made fun of sometimes for his singing and music but I, for the life of me, don't understand that.

All you need to do is listen to the music, people. Just listen to the music!

It's the stuff that dreams are made of.

There's not a bad thing I can say about this album. The best thing I can say about it is that it contains two versions of David's classic "Night Rocker" song. Two versions! That's like getting two little pieces of heaven for the price of one.

If you haven't already bought this album, then you're just not spending your money wisely enough.

Why did David Hasselhoff not open and close the Berlin section of Live 8 on Saturday 2nd July 2005? I think Mr Geldof will be receiving a letter of sorts with some choice words on it. If it weren't for he and Looking For Freedom, Germany would still be East & West...

Another work of art destined for the New Tate Modern Gallery. Why `Der Duke' hasn't been made into a latter day saint, or have his face carved into the side of a mountain in the newly made Children of Hasselhoff Animal Sanctuary & Country Park in the suburbs of Tibet totally befuddles me. I am also shocked that the powers that be have not changed it from Bismarck, Dakota to Hasselhoff, Dakota in honour of this prince amongst men.

A great album that takes the listener on the highs, lows and straight as a dye life of a fly by night crimefighter cum lifeguard cum The Most Inspirational German in History (1980 - Present). Best to listen to drunk to dull the senses as it will have you jumping and jiving and twitching in time to the beat.

Lord Hasselhoff opens up with the rock classic Night Rocker, giving us a glimpse to what Eurotrash looks, sounds and smells like. He then sets his leather trousers on fire for Crazy on A Saturday Night and by `Der Duke's' words it seems that there is not a hotel room's television safe in Germany for all the hard rocking he does.

All The Right Moves is another classic that fails to leave you shaking your head in disbelief that it could have been recorded without permission from the Royal Society for the Protection of Human Senses. I hear that the terrorists in Club Gitmo are subjected to Hasselfhoff music 24/7 - how lucky can so many be? They will die in the knowledge that they have been in the company of God or something similar and being touched in all the right places by an Angel (of muscial mass destruction).

I recall the days when Der Duke mentioned that there are a lot of people dying in the world, and there last wish was to see his face and feel his hairy hand stroke against their cheek.

Again, no Hot Shot City, but I can forgive `Der Duke' for the inclusion of not one, but two Night Rockers make this a 5 star gem.

What did we do to deserve this treatment. I really shouldn't even spend time reviewing the music of Hasselhoff. As you should've figured out by now, it's flawless. There is not one bad track in the whole catalog. I've had friends tell me they thought Hoff mailed it in when he recorded "Crazy on a Saturday Night". Is it his strongest track? No, but it's still better than anything released in the past 8 years. There are two things about this CD that make it my favorite in the Hasselhoff library.

1. The "She cried/All the right moves/Our first night together" medley. Are you kidding me? The songs are great on their own, but put them together and I had a moment with myself. Look at it this way. I love Hot Mustard, Sweet n' Sour and Honey sauces for my McNuggets. They all taste great, but when you dip a nugget in all three it takes you to a level only achieved watching the all valley karate championship in KK1.

2. He actually has the guts to start the album with the synth-punk anthem Night Rocker and finishes the album with the extended blaster mix of Night Rocker. I was a regular at Ten Lies back in Omaha in the early 89s and if DJ Butterpoop didn't throw on the extended mix of Night Rocker, there was a riot. Sterling, just sterling.

Then there's the cover. It's Hasselhoff times eight. It's not like there are 8 pictures of Rosie O' Donnel on this thing. It's eight of Hasselhoff. He make farting sounds with his armpits and I'd buy it just to have 8 more pictures of Hasselhoff to put in my cubicle at work. I have a lifesize cardboard cut out of Hoff at my cubicle too and if someone wants me for something I tell them to check with Michael Knight to see if they are on my schedule.

This thing is pure magic and I'm proud of you for buying it. You're a good kid. April 25, 2005

Don't let the psychadelic overtones of the album's cover deceive you - this is straight ahead rock, on par with early '80s Def Leppard. In fact, leadoff tunes such as "Night Rocker" and "Crazy on a Saturday" are so blatantly drenched in 1981-era Def Leppard sound, one wonders if Hasselhoff extended the bounds of creative license a bit. To his credit, Hasselhoff carves out his own unique niche on softer gems like "She Cried" and "Our First Night Together," tracks that literally paved the way for future inferior metal ballads of the mid '80s. The two add-on tracks on "Magic Collection" - "Medley: She Cried/All the Right Moves/Our First Night Together" and "Night Rocker [Extended Blaster Mix]" - though special, are unnecessary for an album that already had everything and then some.

All in all, this is first-rate early work from a man who's for too long gone unnoticed - at least musically speaking.

Live life. Love. Hate. Seek transcedence. Be yourself. Seek Hasselhoff.

Along with "Looking for freedom" and "Hooked on a feeling", the Magic Collection offers an up close and personal look at David in the transition phase between Nightrider and Baywatch tv series.
From the opening chimes of "Night Rocker" david dominates the proceedings as only he can- his tone, sense of time, style, and the use of his famous sense of humor never better. He was definitely a man on a mission, and his leadership on his voice is simply astounding.

"Do you love me" is the highlight, the most powerful hit in the record,as the rest of the lp comprises slower, more laid back numbers, right for, well..relaxin, I suppose.
A wonderful lp of great material, showcase Hasselhoff and the group enjoying themselves greatly. The results show as much. March 22, 2003
