An underrated country music singer

I have always thought Don Williams deserved a lot more credit than what he got. He has a great country music voice. Don can make any song his own. He's that good. And in 2000, he was awarded a collection in UMG's series '20th Century Masters.'

This is the best of Williams' MCA years. How does this collection measure up?

-Every Williams hit on the MCA label is here. 'I Believe In You,' 'Tulsa Time,' and ''Til The Rivers Run Dry' all appear on this set.
-THE SOUND QUALITY IS EXCELLENT!!!
-You get underrated classics here. 'She Never Knew Me,' 'Say It Again' and 'Good Ole Boys Like Me' all appear on this set.

Overall, this is an excellent Williams set and it's perfect for the beginner. However, Williams was given a second volume in the series, and if you enjoyed this, you may want to buy that set as well.

Greats!

This album is great but is an abbreviated collection of his best! The Definitive Collection is his all time greatest! This one is good, but I like the collection with MORE of his songs even better! August 28, 2007

Don Williams is a real voice master

l love the soothing, rich sound that Don Williams has. His voice is so mellow and I just find myself relaxing and forgetting the stress of the day frome the sound of his voice. I really think this is one great cd. January 11, 2007

Don Williams The Gentle Giant

What a great album. I have this one and I can honestly say that I don't know which one is the best. But how can I say that anyone of Don's song aren't the best. Don has been a favorite of mine for along time. He has such a gentle voice and when you go to one of his concerts - OH MY!!! what a show. They are well worth attending and you will definitely fall in love with this gentle giant and that beautiful voice. I am never afraid to buy any of his albums or CD'S because I know that I will never be disappointed. June 12, 2005
