I'm so glad that this weasel's 15 minutes of fame have come to an end. He seemed more like a circus act than an R&B singer. Anyway, "Thong Song" is revolting and I prefer listening to the instrumental version. Who wants to hear someone singing about women's draws? December 27, 2005

....lightning has struck!! has a thong ever been as sweet?

Rarely has a song revolutionized the way we listen to music. This is such a song. I now roam streets bobbing my head to the beat and wondering-who but who-is wearing a thong. O, Sisqo, you have transformed sound, you have given us an audio dream in this tune. Next month when I marry, I will request that they play this song at the reception and you will see some dancing because this song and its thought-provoking lyrics are just that powerful. ON the surface, it's a bawdy tune, but the 'thong' refrain asks the listener if we just aren't also reacting to the hegemony of mainstream life & what are we going to do to stand up to the machinery that controls our lives. Why-we will show them our thongs!!! Yes!
