| STILL HOT AFTER ALL THESE YEARS ! |
SOUND IS SOMETIMES UNEVEN....I CONSIDER THE ALAN WILSON PERIOD
TO HAVE BEEN A GOLDEN ERA OF BLUES ROCK......I HAD THE GOOD
FORTUNE TO HAVE SEEN THEM LIVE THREE TIMES, INCLUDING THE DAY
HARVEY MANDEL JOINED THE BAND.......! THAT WAS JULY '69 AT THE
FILLMORE EAST.......THEY WERE HANDING OUT LEAFLETS FOR A CONCERT
IN UPSTATE NEW YORK THE NEXT MONTH WHICH I HAD THE LUCK TO ATTEND..........ANYWAY, THESE RECORDINGS ARE WORTH SEEKING OUT !
