When it comes to straight wailing power, there aren't many more ferocious than Kelly Price. The only vocalist to emerge in recent years who actually deserves to be compared to Aretha, Price does nothing less than electrify when her magnificent instrument wraps around the right material. Mirror Mirror

I remember this album when I was 13. I love this album. This album is just as good as the debut album of 1998. This album speaks directly to women. The songs are about heartbreak, romance, conflicted love and the two songs are dedicated to her mother, late mother-in-law, and her kids. This album explores the difficulty of being a mother in a fast-paced business where family problems are not as important as video shotts and charts placement. This album has been certified Platinum. There is definitely some material here worth checking out:

You Should've Told Me, At Least (The Little Things), She Wants You, National Anthem (Interlude) (My favorite, should've been a full song!), The Lullaby, All I Want Is You, As We Lay and Love Sets You Free.

Yes, that's almost the entire CD, but this CD isn't without its faults.

Good Love is very generic and almost unmentionable. 3 Strikes is catchy, but nothing to brag about and Like You Do Feat. Meth brings variety, but I wouldn't shed a tear, had it have been left off the album entirely. And as much as I Know Who Holds Tomorrow features nice and powerful vocals, I disagree with the editor's review, and say it is definitely overshadowed by other songs.

Overall, a good release, but some songs weren't necessary.

Magnificent!

Kelly Price, is without a doubt one of the BEST R&B singers.This album Mirror Mirror was my favorite album from her.The album highlights for me are:

1) You Should Have Told Me (Great ab-libs)
2) Interlude/She Wants You (Also great ab-libs and background vocals)
3) Lullaby (Dedicated to her kids,so lovely)
4) All I Want Is You (Whoa!This song is crazy!At the end it leaves you like what happens next?)
5) As We Lay (Best remake)
6) Love Will Set You Free (Powerful singers, powerful vocals,great message)

I recieved this CD when it first came out.Loved it, and now I still love it today.Please add this to your collection. May 21, 2007

As for me - "Mirror Mirror" is the best r'n'b album I ever heard.I just love her voice and her songs and think she is the best singer for the last few years.I wish her good luck and new beautiful songs. April 2, 2007
