Excellent on first listening but it gets better... Ambient, funky, jazzy, dreamy, avant, retro. It's surprising how many influences are blended to yield something so original. Top notch musicianship (keys, drums, guitar, vox) and composition. The jazzy edge sets this apart from almost everything else. Warm and extremely engaging. If you want something intelligent but also fun, you won't be disappointed. March 20, 2005

A step forward

Nuphonic, one of UK's most rapidly evolving dance labels, releases this downtempo gem. Expect a lot more than the typical K&D & Stereo Deluxe over-polished sounds; Fug are much more forward-thinking & versatile musicians.
