While Dido's voice sounds good in her original songs, I don't think it lends itself well to upbeat dance music. Case in point: On this CD, the Parks & Wilson Homeyard Dub is my favorite version. Since it's a dub, Dido's voice is sparse throughout, leaving Parks & Wilson to show off some excellent chill music -- the rolling bassline is sweet. However, the Parks & Wilson Vocal Mix (on vinyl only) is nowhere near as good.

There IS an excellent vocal mix of Here With Me. Use the Internet or P2P Soulseek to get DJ Evilian's Breakbeat Mix, 5:01 in length. Rollo's mix is the basis of Evilian's mix, and hearing Rollo's orchestral strings alongside Evilian's original breaks is sweet. As for Dido, either because of the music or because Evilian speeds up her voice, her voice doesn't seem depressing. I really love this song! I had it on some obscure cd but I lost it and I am very upset. But I guess something is telling me to buy the first dido album June 12, 2004

Chilly-Music....

This Maxi-Single is definitely worthwhile adding to your CD collection. The yet ''critically'' overused track ''Here With Me'' is a great song, with a excellent chorus. Here it seems to shine on-- in every 4 versions. I like the ''Chillin' With the Family Mix'', which is a esque-Enya meets the likes of an Enigma production.

''Lukas Burton Mix'' is the second track on this EP which unfortunately is doomed to be the worst mix here. The ''Park/Homeyard Dub'' is a excellent mix which I found to be a very chilly tool. You also get a bonus track which is Deep Dishes thumping mix of the hit ''Thank You'', overall a good mix. Highly Recommended!. May 14, 2004

WOW!!!

Last week I bought Here With Me by Dido and once again I was pleased beyond words. First got introduced with her music by Eminem's Stan, quickly bought Thank you and now Here With Me. I still haven't gotten the album but I'm sure it won't be long. WAY TO GO DIDO!!! April 23, 2001
