Elevator muzak: soft versions of already soft music, such as showtunes and soundtracks. Just add a dash of classical guitar noodling, and you get this recording.

Simply put, it's corny and well below Liona's status. She must have produced this out of demand, from someone! It might as well be a spattering of Liona with Mantovani and Lawrence Welk!

For Your Quiet Evenings.

I've had this album for years and I break it out every now and then. It's a very tasteful album and chock full of good tunes done extremely well by Liona. My favourite is 'Vaya Con Dios'. The piano complements the guitar so well. Give this album a whirl and together with Mancinis' 'As Time Goes By', you never know what'll happen. January 22, 2003
