I bought this CD the day it came out and have always wondered what happened to Tone Loc, apart from showing up in a few Hollyweird movies. This is a great album with great beats , funny lyrics and good fun. Fave track is 'Mean Green'. Maybe I've been Loced after dark but I still think this is a great album. August 29, 2008

This CD is very different from the upbeat rap of his first CD. Its bluesy/jazzy. I preferred his first CD much more. But if you want a soft style, this one might be for you. April 3, 2003

Ton Loc was a toy rapper best known for the track 'Wild Thing', which is not on this album. Loc's borrowed beats are fairly funky, but he seems to be desperate to recreate his hit (check out 'Fatal Attraction'). He seems to be flailing, although his attempt to use then trendy reggae rapping are fine, his attempt to ape Big Daddy Kane's 'rapping Barry White' persona are ill considered and his attempts at 'gangsta' credibility are embarrassing. Still, the album is OK if you don't listen too carefully. April 21, 2002
