User Reviews
Average user review:First off, let's get this D12 out of the way. D12 is not just some Eminem side project where Eminem just got 5 random rappers off the street and made it his own band. They formed in the early 90's, and were underground when they first started. Eminem was, in fact, a member in the early years, and Eminem wasn't an MTV household name (not necessarly a good thing) like he is during this decade. If Eminem wasn't well known, D12 would still be as underground as when they first started.
It's evident that the five other members are just as part of the band as Eminem is, because Eminem dosen't rap about his personal problems everybody hates to hear. Therefore, it is miles better from all the other ____ music Eminem has done. It sounds like a project by D12, not just Eminem.
Don't get too excited, while this album is better than Eminem's stuff, it's not that great. While at least three MC's have some skill, Bizarre has got to be the worst. It's not his crude nature, that dosen't bother me at all. He just _________ annoying, he has no talent, and he's kind of boring. Even though I'm glad none of the songs on here deal with Eminem's mother and his damn _____ of a wife, it's not entirely mindblowing, or even that great. Indeed, this rap is not much different from the voilence and drugs that flood rap. Not as bad, there's some interesting concepts. It's not mind bendingly original, but it dosen't have to be.
I'll get the bad stuff out of the way first. There's plenty of unfunny skits. Besides the appearance of the lovable Steve Berman, the skits are pointless and unfunny. Bizarre is typical juvenile clap-trap, That's how is a waste of thirty seven seconds, and Obie Trice is a weak representation of himself. The Public Service Announcement isn't very funny either. Lastly, Revelation, Blow My Buzz, ____ Can Happen, and Girls, are unlistenable, or just bore me to death. Weak beats, uninspiring choruses, and weak verses make these songs NOT okay.
The rest... it's not classic. The songs are fine, but the choruses do fail on some songs like American Physco, and Bizarre's verses are a waste of time. Sure, he deserves to be in the group, but he has no appeal. He is akin to the fat little @$$ in high school who had absolutely no feelings and will probally remain a fat virgin 'till he's 30 or ends up like Bizarre himself. The lyrical content is particually clever at times, but songs like Pimp like Me feature typical degrading, yawn.
So why does this album even merit three stars? Flowing, passable rapping, especially from Kuniva, Swift, and Proof. It shows, although "Flowing, accomplished rapping" does NOT apply to Bizarre. The beats are also half-way decent as well. It's worth the occasional spin for me.
Most people will wright this off on the sole fact that Eminem is a member. Who cares? D12 shows the other members are part of the band, none of the members take the spotlight, they actually share it much evenly, so the whole album is balanced. If you don't like Eminem, this album won't change your mind, but those who can tolerate some of his stuff will warm up to Devil's Night. Avoid D12 World.

Devils Night
Of the two albums D12 has out, this is the definitely the better of the two. The best songs are Aint Nuttin' But Music, Purple Pills, Pimp Like Me, Blow My Buzz, and Revelation. November 3, 2006
D-12's Debut
Alright now a lot of you people put down D-12 just 'cause Em is in it. But here's the thing, Eminem is not the whole group! There are 5 other very talented rappers in this group. Bizarre (definately the one that will shock and offend you the most with his "bizarre" rhymes), Proof (R.I.P.), Swifty, Kuniva, and Kon Artis. D-12 has been through 2 deathes (Proof, and late member Bugz who passed before production even began on this album) but still going strong. They are a very talented group and this CD is definately worth the cash. However if you don't like cuss words, stay the hell away from this CD. If you are easily offended, stay away from this disc. If you don't like Em, stay away. Basically if you don't like rap, STAY AWAY FROM THIS ALBUM.
R.I.P. Proof and Bugz, may you give strength to the rest of D-12 to continue recording. July 14, 2006
D12 Debut
This is D12's first album and not a dissapointment. It has the rap superstar Eminem but Eminem isn't the only thing that make's this worth buying because the rest of them are pretty good aswell. Bizarre is great with his cool voice and funny lyrics and the rest of them have great lyrics and voices aswell. D12 is handsdown the illest most explicit rap band ever!

Great Debut
This is my favorite group right now and this album is there first major release and a great one too. All the guys in the group add a different kind of flavor to the music and I like that a lot. I like every song on here except "Nasty Mind" because Bizarre is too weird and the song is pointless but other then that this is a solid group project and worth your money. Anyways they lost another member Proof who was shot just like there other member Bugz who would have made it big if he was still with us but R.I.P. to both rappers and hopefully D12 can come out with another album besides they sophmore album which was below average. Buy this it is worth every penny. May 29, 2006
