If you do, "Nothing really ends" is a good reason to buy this CD (even if you have the previous albums) March 4, 2004

| (Not only) Big in Belgium! |
I used to love their songs, because they always had a "hook" in them. They were always very different from the polished commercial stuff you hear on the radio nowadays. Their last album, "The Ideal Crash", however, was much more polished. I didn't really like this at first. Until they realised their latest single.
I considered buying the single compilation just for the only new song on it "Nothing really ends". It is one of the most beautiful songs dEUS has ever written. In the end, I just bought the single, because I already have all their albums apart from "The ideal crash". February 26, 2002
| A great doorway to one of the most original bands! |
This CD is supposed to keep the name "dEUS" alive in the market, since their last album is from 1999 ("The Ideal Crash") and their next one will only come out in 2003. The band prefered a singles compilation, rather than a "best of". At least, the songs included here have an objective criteria and people can't say «this song is missing, it's one of their best blah blah blah». Anyway it almost works as a "dEUS best of". All of the songs are good.
If you're a real music fan and value melody, originality and an avant-garde attitude, you'll end up buying all of dEUS albuns! If you can afford the 3 original albuns, don't hesitate and forget this compilation. If you want to save money and get to know the band, this is a great buy!
For those who already know dEUS, they might skip this record, 'cause it only brings one new song - "Nothing Really Ends". However, it is one of their finest songs and a must have by all means. February 1, 2002
