Earring's Best

This album simply rocks! The songs are great, the playing is great, and it should have been a bigger hit than it was. I saw them on the tour for this album and the songs were even better live! If you like Golden Earring, buy this one--you won't be disappointed! March 18, 2007

one of their best

This CD has been out of print for so long that I had to "remaster" my LP version to put onto CD! Quite possibly my favorite from G.E. Every song is a winner. The running order on the remastered CD is different that the original US release LP/CD. The original 'side 1' is a greatest hits side.

Grrreeeeat!

Yep, I agree with everybody here, this is a great album! From beginning to end, a great slice of late 70's rock. A lot of great guitar work that never grows stale or boring, and every song is strong and complimentary to the other which is this album's strength. I think it's one of their best! Even if you're barely familiar with them, you wouldn't hurt yourself to start here. February 11, 2005

Underrated classic

Admittedly this recording does not have any Radar Love or Twilight Zone "hits" but all of the songs are real real real close to such songs, and even better if one includes progressiveness and inventiveness as a factor in rating songs.

An underated brillant recording you won't find in your typical music outlet, and the used album is probably kept or had its grooves played out

By the way, why does Amazon include a 'NO' in 'was this review helpful to you?'. People are only human and don't like opinions that differ from themselves, thus the 'NO' makes it too easy express such displeasure.

Are they trying to discourage negative reviews, hence not purchase the CD. Such reviews only help a person in not being dissatisfied a product that received positive reviews
