Excellent Gospel Album

Excellent...Excellent...Excellent....

I usually I'm not a big fan of Gospel Music. I was a bit skeptic to even listening to this record...and boy I'm I glad to be wrong.

Lyrics are great and powerful. Whoever made the instrumental....much much respect..........

To anyone whose not a big fan of gospel I recommend this cd February 9, 2008

Love the music, So-So on the singer

I love the music on this CD. I didn't realize that Rebecca St. James wrote a lot of the songs on this CD and was impressed by the words. But I'm really not fond of her voice. She tends to overdramatize all of her words, and has this extremely annoying habit of adding a little "uh" on an upnote at the end of all of her lines. All in all, it's okay.
Song to listen to....Quiet you with my Love. This song is powerful. October 17, 2007

It Is Well With My Soul!

Rebecca's album "Transform" was very good but I'm glad to notice that this isn't a copy of that. The music is actually a little bit more like in "God" but not exactly. This is great rock, and I have to say that many songs are now my favourites although I didn't like them at first, for example "Let the Words Be Few", "God of Wonders", and "Quiet With My Love". Of course, there's four songs I liked while listening to them at first time: "Song of Love", "Breathe", "Lamb of God", and "It Is Well". The only songs that haven't convinced me are "More Than the Watchmen" and "You". The lyrics are like gospel lyrics, maybe a little bit more God-worshiping than earlier ones.

Great Collection

This worship album by Rebecca St. James is terrific.

From beginning to end, it is a sonic delight of praise for the Creator of the Universe. Although some of the songs have been done, and done very well, by others, the overall album is excellent.

Rebecca's voice is superb and the song collection on this album cannot be topped.

Do yourself a favor and buy this great album. April 18, 2006
