Every song is great. Harvey, though not very famous in US
had a big underground following here. "Snake Bite" guitar by Zal Cleminson is venomously catchy. In surround sound on disc cranked up "Give my Compliments to the Chef" gives new meaning to a satisfactory meal. Everytime I play any songs from these albums people notice and ask who it is. I highly recommend you

Alex drew from a broad pallette of styles and tastes to meld into his own fantastic constructions. Pay attention to what you hear, because in about 30 seconds he will swerve into an entirely fresh take on the theme. He weaves through the music absurd yet unforgettable lyrics which build to a strangely delightful mythology. Witness: "Come up and let me analyse you / Said the monkey to the weasel / And I'll paint your picture on the wall / If you can buy the easel / And I told my story to the cannibal king /Said baby baby shake that thing."
After 20 years without these albums, I recently bought this CD set. I instantly remembered all of the lyrics, and the hooks are better than ever. These 2 albums represent SAHB's best work, with "Tomorrow Belongs To Me" taking the prize for being solid from beginning to end. December 5, 2002
