i wonder if there are music videos for the entire album? That would be amazing! i think its somewhat dark but thats also what makes it so wickedly good!! April 26, 2007

His records goes through and incredible range of music, feelings and moods. Somethings like the Mother's fist, or Tenement Simphony the note is profound, elegant and classical, far, very far from disco or rock, but instead a strange blend of an extremely cult and informed music gathering sounds all over the world.
In Enchanted, the same quality the cover has -in a photograph by the french duo Pierre et Gilles- goes all over the record. A surface simulation opens the door to a campy, almost kitsch mood, that once heard transforms into a whole piece. Opera without stages and singers, just a mental landscape of a timeless place where mythologies collide: the orpheus in red velvet -so Cocteau-, the Madame de la Luna in a spaniard tenure, the unbelievable 'A lover Spurned' one of my favorite songs of all times.
As a matter of fact this was my first disc of Marc, and then went to buy everything of him, discs, books of travels, biography, poetry, and the time he was in Mexico city... I never heard....
This is so deep and elegant, complicated, that it would not be easy to describe the mood to hear it, but be sure: there are records to carry on with your driving, to hear while shopping, to put as a sound landscape while eating; this record is dangerous because anywhere you hear it, the world would dissapear and you will be literally 'enchanted' and trasport to a land of pure magic and evocation.
It was unavailable for a while, and now like it says here re edited in 2005. Go and get it, next to all Marc's Records. If you can, maybe at youtube get a glimpse of the video of 'A lover spurned' also by Pierre et Gilles -I think the only video of them I ever seen-, and then buy it, and treasure it. March 12, 2007
