I bought this to use as background music for an Italian themed dinner and it was perfect! It didn't have a lot of vocals or distracting instruments- it really created the perfect mood for my Italian themed evening.
May 13, 2008I purchased CD to use as backgroud music for a reception with an Italian theme. It set the perfect mood and tone. I have used it for special dinners since and totally love it. All but two songs are music and the two with words are not overwhelming. Upbeat / romantic.
February 10, 2008 Perfect music to accompany my Itallian Dinner Party . Very livley and up-beat ! Dining outside on my patio , we felt like we were in some wonderful Itallian Trattoria ! Molto Buono !

the perfect accompaniment to home cooking, italian style, this CD never tires. (maybe i don't cook italian often enough?)
if i'm not mistaken, the performer is Angelo Petisis & His Mandolin Orchestra.
October 4, 2006Picked this up in Bed, Bath, and Beyond. A fun CD that we we play when having an "Italian night" making spaghetti. Seems pretty authentic.
