To this day Soluna is my favorite latino girl group. It remains in my cd collection to this day. I loved this cd for years...now 6 years later almost, it has slowly faded with me. I'm guessing they split, being I haven't heard of them anymore. The music is beautiful. Everytime I'm ready to knock Soluna out of my top 25 CD rotation I change my mind and keep them at #25. I still can't let them gooo yet...

Although these girls didn't get the airplay they so rightly desereved, SOLUNA is a rock-solid R&B/Pop/Spanish girl group that delivers incredible harmony and heart-felt ballads.
For those of you music listeners that are into the up-tempo songs, you'd appreciate tracks like "Spanish Lullaby" and "Bring It To Me". For those of you who'd like to put your significant other in the 'mood', then tracks like "For All Time" and the re-made version of Jagged Edge's "All Out Of Love" should be right up your alley.
The only drawback I have for this group is that at a few points on the album (very few), they sound too pop-ish. Nonetheless, they're the perfect buy. I really do hope they put out a second album really soon and maybe they'll get more attention this time around.
March 27, 2004Soluna's debut album "For All Time" is by far the best album of 2002. It has a lot of musical genres for anyone to enjoy. There is Pop, Latin, R&B, and some Hip Hop beats. Soluna consists of 4 lovely Latinas who are from Southern California! I definitely recommend this album to everyone because these girls truly know how to sing and harmonize! They take time out of their hectic schedule to post and stop by at their official message board and say hi. They rock!!!! SOLUNA IS HERE TO STAY FOR ALL TIME!!! woo hoo!

At first glance, one might write off the young ladies of Soluna as just another succession in the endless line of girl groups. But when you hear these girls sing, I think all preconceptions are written off. Though the material is nothing new or especially unique, together these girls have absolutely gorgeous harmonies that are music to your ears, even if there is no music backing them up, as in the beautiful a capella song "Te Vengo A Decir". If you're skeptical about Soluna, I think this song should be your first listen. They have some of THE best harmonies from any girl group I've heard in a long time.
Being that these girls are all Latinas broadens their appeal even more. Though some may see this as a marketing tool, hearing the passion in any of the 4 Spanish tracks will show that these girls aren't trying to exploit their backgrounds, but share their heritage and a different language with every person who takes the chance to listen to the album.
If any of you have AOL, it is an absolute MUST that you go check out the Soluna version of Sessions@AOL. They did the whole set a capella, and once again, I can't say this enough, they sound absolutely beautiful throughout. Soluna have amazing harmonies, great personalities, and in my opinion, a great future ahead of them. Definitely check out these ladies, and give them a chance. October 29, 2002
