how can you give this one star?

David Russel and Jason Vieux may be better, but to my ears Sharon Isbin is the most appealing classical guitar player in the world. Segovia is the master and the breakthrough artist, but those that came after are better. Ms. Isbin is my favorite so far.

(By the way, this set contains 6 of the 23 tracks on the Bach Lute suites - so you might do well to pick up that wonderful cd as well. I did.) August 18, 2007

A Joy To the Ears

This CD has been one of the most actively played in my collection. It is one of those rare CDs that contains just the perfect mix of gorgeous guitar music played by an astounding guitarist. What a pleasure to listen to these compositions, sit back and be transported to another place and time. This is one of the best classical guitar "Greatest Hits" CDs available. If you have not had the opportunity to listen to Sharon Isbin in the past, you should not only order this CD immediately, but should add to your order her amazing "Lute Suites" CD as well. The best of the best

All of Sharon Isbin's greatest rolled into one package! Make this CD part of your collection and you won't be sorry. I usually don't spend my money on Greatest Hits packages, but this one was an exception, and I wasn't disappointed. July 8, 2004

expected better

I expected better after hearing how good she is, but the technical and emotional sides are lacking, the sound/tone is weak, and the programming could be better. May 16, 2004
