About Heavy D & The Boyz - Heavy D & The Boyz 20th Century Masters: Millennium Collection

The 20th Century Masters series is the best-selling single-artist line in music history and is being re-released by Universal Music Enterprises (UMe) in its ground-breaking, environmentally-friendly packaging format. A first for the music industry, the standard package (both sleeve and tray) will be completely paper-recyclable, continuing the company's long-standing commitment to being "green."

To further reduce the amount of paper in the Eco-Pack, the CD booklet will no longer be offered. Official liner notes are easily accessible on the Internet at http://www.ilovethatsong.com/green.

UMe is the first North American music company to replace the traditional jewel case with recycled paperboard sleeves and the plastic tray with trays made from PaperFoam®, a new packaging technology from Shorewood Packaging, a business of International Paper, that is paper-recyclable and biodegradable. Shorewood Packaging is the first North American packaging supplier to produce disc trays from PaperFoam®. Album Description

I really only bought this CD because I love the song "Now that Found Love--What are we Gonna Do with it??" I watched a movie that had this at the end and I remembered what a good dance tune this was...

Recently, I went on an interstate drive and I listened to the rest of the songs several times. It's good. This is a good party CD and Heavy D & the Boyz have great RAP and HARMONY. Dance it up!

Oh my God!!! This brought back soooooo many memories of my college days. I forgot how sweet "Don't You Know" was and how the clubs were bangin' "We Got Our Own Thang", "Is It Good To You", "Now That We've Found Love", "Gyrlz They Love Me", etc. Every morning I play this CD to get me started, especially with "The Overweight Lovers in the House" starting things off.

From beginning to end, the groove is non-stop. You don't have to skip songs to get to the ones that you like. Every song on here was and is a "banga".

Big ups to Hev and the Boyz. RIP Trouble T-Roy. August 5, 2005

I heard Don't You Know on the radio about two days ago and I had forgotten all about Heavy D. So I had to go out and get this CD of all his greatest hits. It took me back to the 80's and I wish I could've stayed there for a while. I want to clear up something too. HEAVY D IS NOT DEAD. He didn't die in an airplane crash. He is still alive and kicking. I can sum up this album in one word: BRILLIANT. The late, great Heavy D will go down as one of the greatest rappers of all time. His rhymes are, as the kids say, dope. I really enjoy the songs when Heavy D slows it down. Now That We Found Love, shoot, I've conceived 3 kids to that song, and once my stereo gets fixed and wife starts talking to me again (long story, do not want to go into that now) look for number 4 to follow. The day I found out that Heavy D had died in that plane crash, well, a big part of me died that day too. Accidents happen everyday, but a 400 pound rapper plunging toward the earth at incredible speeds, well, that my friend is a national disaster. Buy this album. Pass the legacy of Heavy D's on to your children. Chunky but funky...that's how I try to live my life. June 8, 2004
