Benzino is by far one of the worst rappers EVER! i aint even gonna speak on the album that much, i bought this album in frustrations.. and i thought it was sad for this guy to get so much disrespect from the media, the whole Shady/aftermath/g-unit beef.. people said he was bad, i had to clear this up.. cause he could'n be THAT bad.. when i listened, he was even worse than i expected... this dude has no talent what so ever...!!! thank god for Eminem ending his career!! and the fact some people below actually give this album 4 mics.. they are completely out of their minds!!! no human with some kind of sense, would give this album more than 1 mic!!!

It's mostly Em fans knockin this album. This album doesn't deserve a 5 but not a one either. There is like 5 standout tracks and 2 decent ones. Which is rare these days. The album has solid production and Benzinos mic skills is better than most rappers goin platinum. And one cat talkin about Zino's rhyme style is wack. This dude is obviously an EM fan. And it's true Em does put his life on wax. That's why his fourth album is trash cuz we been hearin it since 99. Now this ain't a 5 start album at all again. It's more 3 ish then anything else. I bump it once in awhile.

Just 14 months since his solo debut, the man behind the Source is back. After a heated fued with Eminem, Ray came back with a new album and the way it sounds he'd have been better off not doing so. Not as good as his "Benzino Project" - 3.5 stars, once againhis average flow and rapping skills are overshined by the guests, which make the album better. With 17 songs, 8 are good, 4 or 5 are ok, and 4 or 5 I skip. Guests are on every song but 3. Production is pretty good, Hangmeng 3 do 6 songs, Mario Winans does 4, Moel , L.E.S., LT Hutton, Poke & Tone, and Gary Smith all do 1 song and Tone Capone does 2. If you're a fan of Ray or Made Men then get it other wise I'd skip over this one.

October 1, 2005Benzino continues to create great music. He is someone who truly loves music. He is a man that has seen the worst side of the music industry and seen the worst in people. He has seen the three P's press, politics, and police work together to try to hold him down because of how is perceived as a threat. The threat he presents is to falsity. He is still misunderstood. He stands up for his sprit and does not stop through everything that goes on around him. He keeps striving. Everyone who writes him off because of his beef with Eminem is missing his point and missing truth in life. This is especially true in this day in time where the truth is so blurred by commercialism and politics. Eminem doesn't understand the values of love and perseverance in this rap game like Benzino. Ray has been through more trials and tribulations than most people can imagine. His sprit lives, and that is inspirational! No matter what people have done or said to him he still keeps it tight with Hangmen3 and Dave Mays and goes about his passion, MUSIC !!!!!!! The album Redemption is well done "Rock the Party" is a hip hop classic, the album features many more highlights! A great purchase especially with some of these used prices. You'll enjoy his work beat by beat and lyric by lyric, you'll begin to understand a man of great strength and honor.
