rating: 5 Old Ace of Base back again!
I never expected to hear Ace of Base sounding in this form again! It's been a long way since the times of Happy Nation(1993) and the Bridge, even more so that they had drastically changed their image and sound to more destinct Pop after these records. De Capo, as it's name represents, takes you back to their old sound and it sure doesn't let you down!! The songs such as 'Unspeakable', 'De Capo' and 'Whats the name of the Game' are Electro-Pop fueled songs, Compossed with musical minds filled with new ideas and a desire to to re-create Sweden's Ace of base, bringing the group into a new Millenium. rating: 5 ACE OF BASE - DA CAPO
I've been an Ace Of Base fan since '93, and I did not think they could ever write another album like The Bridge. Of all their efforts, Da Capo ranks a close second. The melodies are great, creative song writing, awesome beats, and great hooks. A must have for any Ace Of Base fan!!! April 8, 2008

rating: 5 Back doing there thing
Its great to see Ace of Base come back with another hot album. Now i liked their last CD. But from the moment you put "Da Capo" in your cd player or whereever. Its evident that Ace of Base is back with more than enough hits to rock a major league pitcher. I find myself playing this from beginning to end with only one song that i really didnt care for "Ordinary Day". It just didnt really do anything for me at all. That said the rest of the cd is on point in a major way "Da Capo" being one of the songs that rocks your senses. As well "Whats The Name of The Game" being something that had me pressing the replay button to hear it again. Also "Change With The Light" it comes out so well vocals and all the other effects add up to another hot song from the group.

Also enjoyed "World Down Under" found myself humming right along with the song and the opening track to Da Capo as well. But the others i didnt mention are just as good as the ones i did. Those were just some of the standouts for me. Either way you look at it this cd should have been a hit in the States and even thought thats not the case. You should still get this cd and not listen to what others might say about em. Ace of Base is back and they mean business. May 17, 2007

rating: 4 Da Capo
No matter how hard they try, Swedish dance-pop heroes Ace of Base just can't seem to fail at what they do. Delivering sugary melodies with slick club grooves is simply their genius, and few acts can consistently pull off that formula over ten years into their game. Among the group's expansive Internet fan base, "Da Capo" was proclaimed as their return-to-form. Is it really? First single "Beautiful Morning" and the gorgeous album opener "Unspeakable" certainly dig up the reggae-kissed style of their monster 1993 debut, but it's when they don't try to emulate their past sound that "Da Capo" truly blossoms. The title track is a darker, clubbier alternative (albiet one with some killer hooks), and the fabulous "Hey Darling" is nothing if not purely addictive. Who knows how long they'll continue their run with their long-dormant chart presence, but if they keep making music for the sake of making music, pop fans ought to be thrilled. January 27, 2007

rating: 5 Da Da Capo once again!!! Best Ace of Base Album
This is the best Ace of Base album, it have great songs and production! We can hear the tipic ace of base sound but more modern! The wonderful ballads, "Ordinary Day" and "The Juvenile", pop reggae songs like "World Down Under", "Unspeakable", "What's The Name Of The Game", pop songs "Beautiful Morning" and "Hey Darling", Two covers "Show Me Love" and "Wonderful Life" and the powerful dance track "Da Capo" are a good reason to buy this cd!
