Having seen the original five guys (who played this concert) live this Summer I was amazed that the energy is still there. AND a new album has already been recorded.....can't wait. Gotta love this DVD, these guys could never be stuck into a specific category. It would be an insult to call them grunge. Robin is into his vocals like a man possesed, Scottie is just wailing away on his Strat and pony tailed Mr. Rhodes beats the drums with a energy reminiscent of some long dead 70's super group drummers (to me anyway). I am constantly turning on 20 somethings to the Gin Blossoms and they want the CD's. Can't wait for their August show in Raleigh. If you even remotely like the old hits that were 90's MTV stock, BUY THIS DVD!

What an amazing band! And what a history! A soap opera, a book, a movie, a TV mini-series, should be made about them and none would really do them justice. And all of that before New Miserable Experience even hit the stores! Robin Wilson is an amazing vocalist who is fundamental (just like Jesse and Bill) to every bit of success they ever had. The Gin Blossoms are back in action and together again. Now we have a live concert DVD to show us all just how great this band is in concert. They perform their songs flawlessly. We are also given 8 music videos (with different versions of a few) as bonus features. As I said, the performance on this DVD is perfect and flawless. The error of this DVD falls in the editing. The person who did the editing was a little too obsessed with switching from shot to shot, which can kind of become annoying at times, but you get used to it. My only other complaint is that they didn't play "Follow You Down" or "Found Out About You". If you're a true Gin Blossoms fan, you MUST buy this DVD! You won't regret it.

i saw them perform twice over the summer and i have to say that they were amazing!! i bought this dvd and it just brought back some awesome memories of how big this band was. it saddens me to think about what happened with them during the late 90s, but now that they are back together i cant wait for their next album. i really hope they can make it big again. music fans know that music today is just terrible. we need a group like the gin blossoms to help make music respectable again. amazing dvd, and an amazing group...
