Smashin Down The Doors

Honestly, before 3 Doors Down, I was never really into this type of music all that much, but the first CD i heard from them Was Away From the Sun, and even since I've not only been hooked on them, but I've explored other similar artists and found I like what I hear as I get older. This should attest to the effectiveness of this CD!

People argue that The Better Life was their best work, but I'd definitely have to say that Away From The Sun easily takes that title. This is one of those CDs where I don't have to skip a single track, automatically making it a classic as far as I'm concerned.

With hard hitting tracks like "Sarah Yelling", "Dangerous Game", "Going Down In Flames", "This Time", and "When I'm Gone" you cant help but be affected by the raw energy these guys bring on this album. The more somber songs on here are no less then great as well, like "Here Without You", "Changes" and "I Feel You". The weakest track on here would definitely be "Ticket To Heaven", but its still good, its just more pop/rock-ish then I like for my tastes.

Its worth the buy, grab it if you can, you wont be disappointed. 3 Doors Down in general is awsome, but this is probably their best work to date. July 10, 2008

there second best with the newest 2008 in first

when i got this cd I listened to it all the way, but when I got to the end of elevin i assumed it was over but it was not,there was a twelfe song called "this time",in my opinion one of there best songs but it was hidden on the track, so know about unless you did what i did and left it in all way until twelve.If this was not hidden it whould be up there in the charts at lest in the top 15 for them. But other than that this is probobly there second best cd with 2008's release in first. My fav's are,(1.here with out you(2.this time{hinden track}(3.the road im on(4.changes(5.away from the sun(6.when im gone.keep up the good work 3 doors down.

p.s. if you want to listen to the hinden track, go to track twleve and wait for 30 seconds and it will start.

Great CD, worth the purchase

A great CD with several hits, I play it often. It is a rather melancholy album but still a great listen most of the time. May 11, 2008

Listen to Fozzy before you buy....you may want both!

More variety than the hits package....a stronger CD overall. Package this with the Fozzy cd that Duane mentions and you've got a great summer ahead of you.All That Remains Reloaded (W/Dvd) April 17, 2008
