Wow, not many rappers can make it to their 10th album. That is a huge accomplishment, especially from LL, one of the pioneers of our rap generation. Some say that LL's last good album was Mr. Smith, but in my opinon "10" was his last great one. I think the reason why people didn't like this is because this album was catered to the females, but not as much as his recent LP. I really wasn't feeling the frist single "Luv U Better" but I gave it a try anyway. The second single "Paradise" with Amerie was straight fabolous. It's one of those songs that makes guys appreciate their girlfriend. A lot of these songs were bumping, up tempo tracks, and that is the reason why I like this album. "Born To Love You" and "Fa Ha" were both excellent songs. Even when he uses his deep voice and names every hit song he made on "Mirror Mirror", it's still dope. Even the dedication to his grandmother "Big Mama (Unconditional Love)" was a great song.

As for anything bad. There are a few songs that I think are skippable. "After School" with P. Diddy, I didn't like. Also "Niggy Nuts" is an easily forgettable song. And as I said before, I wasn't feeling the first single "Luv U Better". The production will be the biggest standout on this album. People may hate on this, but this is an excellent album from LL. This was also the very last time when he went strong, and actually put some effort into his albums. This album is more balanced for females, but guys like me enjoy it as well. It's all down hill from this album for Uncle L. 4.0 stars.

LL used to be good but now all he drops is fluff. Solid production, sex appeal, r&b duets, and his track record from 2 decades ago is keepin him around. If you lookin for r&b, fluff type rap. Then cop this. Even the cover makes me sick, I thought this was a muscle and fitness magazine promo at first. If I wanna see big arms, I'll just look at mine. January 10, 2007

I mean it has a lot of songs produced by the Neptunes... Really I think 2 much was put into this but not enough came out of it...I mean I like it 4 something to listen 2 with the hard beats and smooth beats but not LL's best but get it if u r a true fan! December 8, 2005

This is lls 9th joint and its pretty good if your a fan but it has too much RnB like track 7 which is dope but shouldnt be on here as its joint with mostly singing and few vocals from LL.tracks 6, 8, 13 are more hardhitting and are the better tracks. Still radio, mama said knock...,and even mr. smith are better albums. his last one(definition)was worse than this but i think LL needs to put more soul and passion in his tracks. November 4, 2005
