It's funny but I love the soundtrack tons more than the movie itself. The music is a glorious mixture of a classical orchestra with Asian sounds and instruments of the Asian culture. In the song Kung, the main theme I can hear the wind rolling though high mountains, and what sounds like an approaching army with trumpets and drums. Certain parts, such as track #4 sound like a royal fairytale, simply gorgeous.
Track #8 for example has some computer music in it, simply adding to the action of the scene, while producing contrast to the folklore of the main theme. This soundtrack is truly a piece of art as I feel it really gave great support for the movie, with the expressive and fluid music.

I like to put this on when I'm busy doing work or for any art projects in my room, and sometimes I find myself dropping everything while I sit and listen, such as I was doing now. I was actually playing a simple computer game and the music distracted me to the point where I had to stop what I was doing and write a quick review to express my fondness of it. The tracks are pretty short but they blend very well together. I love movie scores, as I collect them, and I especially love listening to them as I draw. I remember reading about my favorite artists listening to certain types of music to help them get in the mood and this soundtrack certainly does the job.

What I like about this score is how melodic and adventurous it sounds, you know when you watch a movie and you hear the music, and the music makes the movie alive, well this soundtrack makes me feel alive, its gorgeous. It truly sounds like a grand heroic movie music. March 13, 2006
