I happened across this album as a similar artist to someone else I was looking for. Wow, am I glad I gave it a shot. I like every song on the album and listened to this album probably 15 times in the couple of weeks after I bought it. Six months later, it still sounds fresh and exciting.

Lillix has a catchy pop-rock sound, a bit of a garage band feel, edgy yet not unpolished. Hard to describe. Tough-sounding girls at times, sentimental at others. My tastes run to classic rock and pop-rock, and this fits nicely in the latter category. My 11-year-old daughter likes it too (I edited a word or two out of a couple of tracks), which is a bonus. I came here to buy their new album (I don't know the songs on it yet) and figured I'd rate this one since I was here. There's so many listenable songs on there I'm amazed it didn't sell more, but it is a good album, and I'd rate it highly. I really like Sick, It's about time, Tomorrow, What I like about you remake, Because, Promises, Invisible, Quicksand, those are the ones that stand out for me, but the whole album is good, I can just put it on and let it play, I don't have to worry about skipping any of the bad tracks cause there's none that are really bad on there. It's been a long time since i got this album and i still like it enough to give it a four star rating. This album doesnt lose appeal very easily, which is the good part of the album. Not all the songs are good though, but the ones that are, are REALLy good.

Dirty Sunshine, What I Like About You, It's About Time, Sick and Because are really really good.

Tracks like Invisible, Quicksand and Tomorrow are alright. But 24/7 and Promises arent up to the mark. I have a song called 'Promises' and i'm told it's much better than the Lillix one. But other that, this album is very good.

If you like Avril Lavigne, Ashlee Simpson, Skye Sweetnam, Alexz Johnson, Pink or Fefe Dobson, you'll love Lillix. July 11, 2006

I bought this cd for my daughter after previewing sound bites. We listened to it on a road trip this summer and it wasn't long before I was singing along. If you like Avril Lavigne, you'll like Skye Sweetnam. My daughter is beginning to believe that all the good female rockers are from Canada. August 11, 2005

The songs are catchy, but they are all a little too similar. It's a good first album, but I hope the second album they're working on now is a bit better. All the songs have the same sound, making it get tiresome by the end. The vocals are beautiful and make you smile. Quicksand is by far the best song. Some of the other better tracks are the ones that differ, the singles: What I like About You, It's about time, and Tommorow. April 22, 2005
