| | A moving and touching tribute to Staind | |
As a major Staind fan who gets all their CD, EP's and singles, I came across this Tribute CD and knew I had to get it. I am normally not a classical music listener so I had reservations about listening to this CD. However this 10 song tribute has 8 songs that have been done well and only 2 that were not that listenable. 'Just Go' and 'For You' are those songs that should be missed. However, the 8 other songs have been done so well, exceptional that they moved me along and touched my heart like many songs of the originals have. The Tribute performances were done by 13 musicians with a variety of instruments ranging from the cello to the Violin and Viola. The performance was intune and a pleasure to listen too. My favourite trinute songs were 'It's Been Awhile', 'Outside' and 'Mudshovel'. Well done, what a excellent tribute to such a great heavy rock band that is 'Staind'.

Takomora has no idea wut he's talking about. Staind is one of the best bands out there. Nothing compares with Aaron Lewis's vocals, staind is great this cd is not
May 13, 2005This was my first SQT I bought, and I was so impressed of each rendition of Staind's songs. My favorite was personally 'Home'. It was a little slow, but it pays offs with the chorus and bridge. Other greats are Fade, Safe Place, Waste, Mudshovel, It's Been Awhile, Epiphany, and Outside. For You was probably the worst out of them all, but the CD is worth it.
November 19, 2004Why is every band getting a string tribute? I thought tributes only went to those who deserve to get them? Staind isn't one to deserve a tribute, maybe a nice stab in the face, but no tribute. I hate goth bands, I hate "NU METAL" or whatever goth 14 year olds (not real goths) listen to these days. If you buy this or a Staind cd you will get your ass kicked by the mistical being that defines good music.

This cd is so moving and beautiful. I bought this album on a whim having not heard any of it and it's by far my favorite album. Their recording of Mudshovel is my favorite and I'm a huge fan Staind's version cause it got me through a-lot of things. I recomend this to any Staind/classical music fan alike. I give it 100 stars.
