This song is annoying with it's cry-baby type vocal! I like "This Is The Last Long" better even though it's a bit on the cry-baby side but not too much - but that song has been overplayed and so it's tired out. I really like "Move Along" which does not suffer from cry-baby-syndrome.
This review is not an attack on the band but rather a voicing of why I do not like the song "Swing Swing".
October 20, 2006I realize that the All American Rejects are not by any means "Punk Rock". They are more "Alternative Pop Rock". The music is upbeat and straight out fun to listen to. They are a truly talented band.

I just heard this song recently on MTV and was greatly impressed. I could not help drawing comparisons between "Swing Swing" and songs from the Blue Album by Weezer. I think to hear this kind of music on MTV nowadays is a great refreshment! Great drive to it and about as catchy as anything else out there.
