First off, I am not a Danzig or nothing fan who hates everything besides for the original line up. I prefer the Danzig era Misfits, but actually enjoy the Michale Graves albums. I wish he would have stayed for this one, because it is just bad. It sounds like a bad joke and any minute it should get good.

This really surprised me because I am a fan of the original songs, I like the Misfits in most forms, and I am a sucker for a cover song. That being said, this was the only Misfits album I have deleted off my computer after I bought. I don't ever want to hear it again. December 15, 2007

i will admit i would not have picked some of these songs to be remade, but the misfits rockem out anyway.
they blew me away having seen them at fiendfest 06.
they will knock you out with volume and presence.
also watch the video that came with the cd, it rocks.
the only thing is there are not enough songs, they go by too quick.
but all in all its well worth the money. February 12, 2007

i'm just gunna start off by saying i don't particularly like the misfits with Danzig. I much preffer Graves and the higher production values of that era. that being said i saw this lineup of the misfits live about 2 or 3 years ago, craziest concert i have EVER been to. to anyone who thinks the misfits have lost their edge, i laugh at you. the song selection for this album is great, definently not typical misfits (but what is typical about the misfits?) the thing i realy loveabout this album is the drums, they rule! this album is fun, and the only thing i expect out of the misfits is fun and this album surely delivers on that. What the hell is this crapola? The real Misfits were not about lame as* bullsh*t! Like everyone else says, what you usually hear without Danzig has lost it's edge. They lost their edge. What's the point of making music and calling yourself the Misfits when you're really not changing anything? Punk is about change. Change is usually edgy, this is honestly far from that. The Misfits changed music - they had their own sound, they were original, and nobody else had that sound. I'm saying this about alot of other bands. We're not Danzig heads, we're not kissing as*. The Misfits truly lost their edge. We're not expecting every band to always sound the same - but at least create newer and edgier music because nowadays every band sounds the same. It's all up to the original bands to influence everybody, and when you're making music that doesn't influence anyone, what's your point - money? June 4, 2006

I'm really amazed at how many people don't like this album. Now I'll admit that it's not my favorite Misfits album, but c'mon, take it for what it is. This is just a fun little album to throw on every now and then.

Jerry Only can pass as a Misfits singer in my opinion. He's got the attitude and the pipes. He can croon as well as any other punker. Some say this shouldn't be called a Misfits album. I will not debate that here. The title of the band playing the music on this disc are called the Misfits. If you want to argue, go ahead, but facts are facts. This is a Misfits album. If you don't like it or don;t agree, go listen to 138 for the millionth time. I would rather have one member of the Misfits carrying on and releasing music than have nothing.

That being said, the music is decent. It's all punk cover's of songs from the 1950's. I like Donna, Diana, Monster Mash, and This Magic Moment the best. It puts a twist on songs almost a half a century old and pays tribute to them.

The DVD bonus is hilarious. Only, Dez, and Marky perform at a ski resort. They are on a stage surrounded by snowboarders who are in need of a Misfit fix. Check out the cute little blond with the red goggles on her forehead. She's a cutie. It's hilarious to see the Misfits in the middle of a snowball fight as they perform. Marky Ramone can still pound the skins as well as he did 30 years ago. Dude was beating the drums hard.

It's funny, but watching this is like seeing a supergroup. You got a Misfit, a Ramone, and a Black Flagger up there. Maybe if the could have gotton Johny Rotton from the Sex Pistols to front with vocals, it really would have been something.

Anyway, love Jerry or hate him, he's not going away. I say rock on Jerry, keep it coming. May 16, 2006
