As a decades long fan of Nana Mouskouri, I will say that Vicky Leandros is my second favorite Greek singer. These ladies have a gift with voice and languages that transcends talent. I adore Vicky, remember her at the Eurovision contest and have been a huge fan ever since. Thanks to Amazon I can again enjoy this music without having to travel across the globe. Thanks!! I cannot really express my feelings for such a wonderful work! I always admired Greek music and Theodorakis and I believe that Leandros is ideal for this genre. Such a powerful voice! I always knew that Vicky Leandros is still active and that she keeps growing with loosing nothing from the power of her great voice. But this CD is an outstanding achievement. No artist the latest years has sung with such passion and freshness the songs of Theodorakis. The orchestra and sound are wonderful and by far "Mera Maiou" "Der Morgen kuesst die Erde" and "Verwelkkten Rosen" are some of the best titles. Whoever does not know Leandros this is the best chance.(or you can wait for the english and original greek version) Thank you Vicky! November 17, 2003
