February 9, 2008 | | Great CD, I had a cassette years ago and missed it alot
This is a great example of real sentimental harmonious and nostalgic music. It has you go through a roller coaster of emotions from happiness and joy, to sadness and melancholy. A wonderful addition to your music collection, for the serious music connoseur.
December 21, 2007 | | Good, but not the originals.
This is a great collection of his hit songs, but they are not the original final cuts. They are likely rerecordings from a later date. Personally I'm going to go and look for the real "mcCoy." For those who have an "ear" for the exact sounds of those 50s & 60s hits we loved in our youth, you'll notice the difference. If you don't crave perfection, this CD will suffice. bougie62@hotmail.com

The album brought back lots of memories. You can visualize the times when the songs were popular and times were simple.
August 6, 2007 | | ALMOST EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED
This is a very nice collection of Bobby Vinton's greatest hits. Unfortunately, it ends with his recording of "Sealed with a Kiss", which doesn't begin to compare with Brian Hyland's excellent recording of the same song. More unfortunate than the inclusion of "Sealed with a Kiss" is the exclusion of Bobby Vinton's last major hit, "Melody of Love". If that had been included on this disc, this would be a truly excellent compilation. As it is, it's very good, but not all it could have been.
